Well, they all have a reason, and therefore the price of candied fruit is on the one hand improved. We all know that today naturalness and health pay off! And here we are talking about some natural, healthy and good foods on top. If you don't particularly like them, you can always combine them with milk or muesli. They will not be as healthy for the body in this combination but it is still better than another dessert or their total lack!

Before buying dried fruit, try to read everything on the package. It is a pity that if you want to buy something healthy and good, do not notice if dyes or other human products (for example sweeteners) have been added to them for a "better quality".

Another advantage that these fruits have is that they can be very "handy". Whether you go to work, school or looking for something in the house to grind, they are easy to transport anywhere!

Remember that there is a difference between dried and candied fruits. The dried ones are simply dehydrated. They keep a very large part of the properties of the fruit in a fresh state. Instead, candied fruits contain a glucose solution that makes them sweeter but not healthier.

I think the most handy dried fruits are plums. I say this because they can be found not only in hypermarkets but also in farmers, in the market. They contain copper and potassium helping to regulate blood sugar levels.

Other fruits that we find more easily in their dried / candied form more than in the natural one are figs and dates. Both are recommended for people who have an active physical life because they have a toning effect. At the same time, they are very good laxatives, removing various digestive problems / diseases. A very good thing about dates is that they contain the whole vitamin B complex!
Regardless of the fruits you choose, you must know that the dried ones are the healthiest.

If you still want candied fruit, be careful with the lipids contained and the number of calories. However, they are still a better option than a chocolate or a cake! At least, along with sugars and calories, you will also have vitamins and minerals!

This cake is special aromatic, due to the candied fruit. For this reason neither you do not have to put sugar in the composition. It will turn out very sweet.

Beyond the fact that it does not contain sugar, to this recipe not even oil is used. To get a more consistent and healthier dessert, use wholemeal flour instead of white flour, or a combination.

Put the juice or liquid in a large bowl. Add the candied fruit, then the essences and the flour mixed with the baking powder. Mix with a wooden spoon until smooth. The resulting composition should be similar to that for blackberry, according to thickness.

Pour the composition into a cake pan / bread / cake greased with oil and lined with baking sheet. Level above.

Let the cake bake on low heat. It needs a longer period of time than regular cake. Check with a toothpick if it is well baked inside.

Let it cool, then cut it into slices.

The composition can be placed in other types of trays: round, square, rectangular.

You can use half white flour and half wholemeal flour.
