  • 2 kg melon pulp
  • 500 gr sugar
  • juice from 2 lemons

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes


We need 3 melons.

We wash the melons, clean them of seeds and peel and portion the pulp into small cubes.

Sprinkle with sugar and set aside for about 3 hours until the sugar melts and the syrup forms.

Before giving the jam over low heat, squeeze the lemons and add the juice over the melon pulp.

Let it simmer for about 2 hours.

At the beginning, the foam that forms must be collected and removed.

The jam is ready when the remaining liquid thickens.

I got three jars + a healthy portion of taste for all the cravings of the house!
