How do we balance Yin and Yang food

The intercomplementary principles of yin and yang are key concepts in traditional Chinese philosophy and are used to describe the dynamic nature of the universe. Although they are opposites, they cannot exist without each other and if we consider the Chinese teachings, even the personality can be seen according to the elements of yin and yang.

The attributes of yang they are contracted, compact, hot, dense, heavy, flat and close to the ground. Yang personality she is strong, with will, extroverted, grounded, concentrated, concrete, active and prone to get angry. An unbalanced yang personality can be aggressive, tense, angry and irritating. Excessive consumption of yang foods can intensify and amplify these mental characteristics. For example, although in ancient India they were not called yin and yang, it was customary to feed the fighters, soldiers with yang (meat) food to intensify the characteristics necessary for war.

The yin attributes, are expansive, receptive, dilated, light, refreshing, vertical and thin. Yin personality it is introspective, reflective, sensitive and has a spirituality-oriented mind. An unbalanced yin personality tends to be shy, dreamy, unearthed, unwilling and passive. An exaggerated diet of yin food, without balancing yang food, can lead to imbalances in both mind and body.

Foods are not entirely yin or yang. Each food contains a combination of both yin and yang elements that are complementary and in a balanced dynamic. Thus, although yin foods are predominantly alkaline, there are also yin foods that are acidic. Likewise, yang foods are generally acidic, but there are also alkaline yang foods.

YANG EXTREM YANG MULT YANG MODERATE YANG PUTIN YIN PUTIN YIN MODERATE YIN MULT YIN EXTREM
Table salt, medicines such as Steroids, Sedatives pork, beef, eggs, salted cheeses chicken, seafood, shellfish, fish with red meat (Tuna, Salmon, etc.) fish with white meat (carp, catfish, pike, etc.) wheat flour, sea salt Miso sauce, soy sauce, Kombu, seaweed Clouds, Sweet Cereals prepared in various forms: Rice, oats, corn, wholemeal flour, bran, quinoa, amaranth, carrot, kale, Onions, Radishes, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Squash, Kale, Berries such as lentils, black beans, peas, cucumbers, lettuce, sprouts, beans, chickpeas, mushrooms, wholemeal noodles, tofu, tempeh, parsley, beets, apples, pears, peaches, plums, strawberries, melons, apricots, melons, grapes , orange, lemon, almonds, hazelnuts, rice syrup, chicken, red pasta, potatoes, eggplant, grapefruit, bananas, pineapple, red peppers, spinach, spices, honey, maple syrup, cashews, soft cheeses, sour cream, yogurt, butter, refined white sugar, alcohol, Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, Amphetamine, painkillers, tranquilizers, Nicotine, Caffeine, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, anything subject to electromagnetic radiation or microwaves

Each of these foods has its own yin or yang strength and can be said to have its own energy that influences the mind towards a more expansive or contracted tendency. Choosing a balanced diet between yin and yang depends on several factors of life and environment. Some of these factors are determined by the person's constitution. Thus, a constitutionally hotter person (yang) will balance by eating more refreshing food (yin).

In the Chinese system, organs and glands are classified according to their yin or yang nature, so yin or yang foods are recommended to balance and heal problems related to those organs or glands.

If we are careful we notice that the body usually signals this need for balance. For example, when we eat a very yin food, the body feels the need to balance and so we have very yang food cravings. Thus, beer that is very yin, is balanced by salty pretzels that are yang.

Most people's bodies tend to be yin nowadays. This is the cause of most of the diseases we face. So the solution is not to add more yang foods but to remove from our diet yin foods that create acidity.

Why are our bodies so yin?

The modern lifestyle is composed mostly of elements that have led to the general condition of yin (acid) of our bodies:

Ion radiation, electromagnetic pollution, heavy, toxic metals, toxic chemicals, changes in the way we grow our food, food refining, drug use, alcohol and drugs, planetary pollution, stress.

It is thus important from this point of view to reduce the impact of this modern life on our balance.

Other elements that can influence the balance

Food processing, cutting, grinding, using a blender or juicer, makes food more yin. While eating whole foods has a yang effect.

The post it has a great yang effect while overeating has a considerable yin effect.

Rest has a yang effect on the body (up to 10 hours of sleep). At the same time, if we do not get enough sleep, the body becomes more yin. We get the same affection if we stay in bed all day. Likewise, if we go to bed earlier, before 10 pm, this has a yang effect, while if we go after 10 it has a yin effect.

Dehydration, makes the body yin while consuming a balanced amount of fluids has a yang effect.

Exercise, they tense the muscles and have a yang effect, while lack of movement or exaggeration in performing the exercises leads to a yin effect.

breath deep and correct, it has a yang effect, because it helps oxygenation and detoxification.

It is advisable to classify foods not only by taste or number of calories, but also by the subtle nutrients and energies they offer us. Most of the time a deficient body will scream for the nutrient it needs, or for the food to balance it. We must learn to listen but at the same time not to fall into the trap of "false" lusts. like my body longs for the nutrient called "hamburger" or "ecler".

Vegetarian sandwich with baked peppers, avocado and tofu

2 slices of bread an egg salt black pepper red oregano pepper flakes or dried basil soft tofu paste a baked capsicum pepper 4 slices of avocado a few arugula leaves.

Method of preparation

Place the first slice of bread on a plate and grease it copiously with tofu paste.

Peel a squash, grate it and peel the seeds.

We break it into several strips and place it over the tofu.

We place the arugula slices, then come the avocado slices (which I would put in any sandwich, but you can replace them with something else).

For example, you can add a more spicy note with a few slices of pickled cucumber.

How and how much we eat

As I said above, the basic idea in the diet for fatty liver is to be moderate. Personally, I ate large portions until I felt completely full, and it wasn't good.

Portions should be medium to small, enjoyed quietly and not in a hurry. Chew food as well as possible and so the feeling of satiety will come faster. We can drink a glass of water 10-15 minutes before the meal to feel fuller.

Also, a good thing for us Romanians is the consumption of soup. A vegetable soup, without oil and sugar, without excess potatoes or rice or noodles, is very good to make you feel fuller even if you consume few calories.

We must not starve, because then we risk eating more at some point, when we crack. Eat at least 5 meals a day (I often get to 6), as follows: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and optional snack after dinner. However, try not to eat anything at least two hours before bedtime.

Snacks are generally represented by a fruit or a handful of hazelnuts / seeds, but it can also be a yogurt with seeds or even a slice of wholemeal toast or some wholemeal biscuits, organic or homemade.

Following this diet I managed to lose a little over 11 kilograms in 3 months (from 95.5 to 84.3), 16 in seven months and 18 kilograms in total when I was told that I got rid of fatty liver.

You should not lose too many pounds, too fast, but if you do not have results after changing your diet, exercise daily. I haven't started going to the gym yet precisely because I didn't want to lose too much weight, too suddenly, but in the end I had to introduce physical activity into my daily routine.

Exercise is also absolutely necessary to get rid of fatty liver and should be done at least 3-4 times a week (I go to the gym where I run on the treadmill for 45 minutes, for example). It is not necessary to become a body-builder, but it is necessary to introduce physical exercises along with diet.

It was quite difficult to start, but very quickly & # 8211 maybe after two weeks & # 8211 I got used to this extremely low fat and sugar diet, with healthy food, mostly prepared at home, to have control of the ingredients.

I am convinced that this diet can be followed by anyone and greatly appreciated. Like me, you will have no reason to return to your previous lifestyle and continue to eat healthy!

And if you want more details on how to get rid of this problem, we recently launched a blog dedicated to the fight against fatty liver, which you can access here. It's free and gives you all the information I've learned over the years, as well as many useful suggestions.

Doesn't anyone dare? I kept a strictly alkaline diet for a day (I only started yesterday) and the only thing I noticed was that I feel dumb lighter - my body feels lighter.

Proposed recipes: apart from replacing vinegar with fresh lemon juice and pickles in vinegar with pickles, I think there are millions of possible recipes. For those who want strictly alkaline for a few days - oriental salad, mashed potatoes with oil instead of butter (a little milk is also allowed), cabbage in soup, beaten white beans, bread with baking soda instead of yeast or kamut paste . Pumpkin seed oil is among the most alkaline.

I will put below some of the least known. Of course, everything is relative

onion salad
cut the onion into scales and then grind it in a wooden pisalog until it becomes a paste, add a little cold pressed oil, a little dehydrated vegetables and you can already grease it on the bread.

potato dish
cut the potatoes into cubes and boil, after 15 minutes or after boiling, throw away the water but keep about a glass in the pot. add a pinch of salt and chew over low heat through the potatoes to crumble and absorb the water. After they have cooled a little, add a little oil. It is a very good gasket

leek soup with zucchini
boil for 15 minutes 2 fries and 3 pumpkins with a carrot, half a celery and a parsley root. then mix (whoever wants thicker add a potato or 2) and can be served with cow's milk (or possibly soy milk to maintain high alkalinity) the original recipe was with sour cream

It is considered that most vegetables remain alkaline if they are steamed, we can serve with garlic sauce, a salad oil or lemon juice.

The recommendation was to eat predominantly alkaline even if we add acidic foods - the final score should be extra. This regimen is recommended for boosting immunity in people who get sick often. It is also recommended to introduce in the daily consumption of wheat germ, soybean, oat barley, radish, etc. for the high content of vitamins.

This regimen is useful in bacterial infections when the bacterium is known (for example, some recurrent urinary tract infections with escherichia coli). In infections with escherichia C. a strongly alkaline regime is recommended one day and the next day strong acid then again we resume the alternation must last at least 7-8 days after which the infection has subsided - echerichia coli does not tolerate drastic changes in acidity.

Equally useful is the introduction into the diet of an important content of fiber (cabbage, carrots, leeks, radishes, parsley, celery, bran or wholemeal flour, etc.) which acts as a broom cleansing the intestine of bacterial deposits. Of course, the condition is that the bowl of fiber represents a large enough volume for the intestine.

The analysis that established the bacterium and its susceptibility to antibiotics is called the antibiogram and is currently performed in laboratories. In case of an infection, we can ask the doctor (if he does not prescribe us) this analysis from my point of view very useful.

# 7 rym

this is my way of eating. so without wanting to eat more alkaline foods.

# 8 gymnopedia

It is also recommended to consume 2-3 liters of mineral water (not tap water because it has chlorine and other added minerals such as flowers, etc.) and herbal teas. When buying a mineral water we must read its pH in order not to buy an acidic product (pH below 7). It is recommended to consume various herbal teas - do not exceed one week of treatment with the same tea. Cooking salt is also temporarily reduced to help reduce acidity and eliminate water.

Foods that help detoxify the body include those high in fiber (cooked as poorly as possible or eaten in salads) - cabbage, roots, whole wheat (glue or Swedish biscuits or even crushed wheat, soaked 24 hours and then boiled because it boils faster ) best in the form of germs.

The second detoxification group is represented by teas and fruits with diuretic effect - watermelon, chamomile, horsetail, dandelion, etc.

the third group is represented by fats or oils that remove soluble toxins only in fats - here I have not many mentions apart from the essential oil of larch. I need to document myself

the fourth group - clay, nettle, cucumbers and other various methods (one-day cure of raw and fresh fruit and vegetable juices), fasting, visualizations / concentration on the image of the purifying organism, etc.

I would like you to post body cleansing methods if you have tried and they have given results. Rym, what can you advise me from your experience?

Camelia, please ... I'm interested in the subject too.

Did I know that meat has an acid reaction, but citrus? do they have an alkaline reaction? regarding meat. I don't like the information too much.

Gymnopedia, I'm glad you had this idea & # 33 [attachment = 324332: flori.gif]

# 13 Luanda

the alkaline diet was mixed with the raw diet. Camelia, what are you going to eat? Do you have kidneys ok? Be careful with these diets by ear that you can get a bigger shock than you imagine. Check your kidneys and liver before starting a detox diet at this level. Be careful to consume diuretic teas. I don't mean gymnastics, but these diets are done under some control.

Raw cooking involves the consumption of cold pressed eggs and oils. Consume butter, drink beer. I know that elta is controversial in Romania, but I also tested a product of theirs and it is more than ok, the unleavened bread. There is a balance in everything. Either one, or high & # 33

To increase immunity, oat germs are better than wheat germs. Eventually, if you have patience, I had it, you can make juice in the juicer. Broccoli sprouts that you can eat in salads are also very good. I'm a powerful antioxidant.

Moatza, if a food is acidic or alkaline to be determined after the burning process and not in its pure state. After the body processes lemon juice which is pure acid, it turns into carbon dioxide, water and inorganic "ash". This ash determines the acidity or alkalinity of the food. Vitamin C is an alkaline compound, potassium is an alkaline compound, so is sodium. and so on

It is best to read on http://www.alcalinizare.ro and also read Robert Young's book YOUNG Diet - the miracle of PH for perfect health. Robert Young is the author of this theory and the book explains in detail the reasons why it is good to adopt an alkaline diet.

In short,
& quot; To be understood by as many people as possible, we can say that PH is a scale that measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is. PH is the abbreviation for & quotpondus hydrogenii & quot, for those who want to know.
The pH is neutral at 7.01. Pure water has this value. Our blood value is around 7.35.
Given these aspects, we can say that alkalinization means all the ways, whether food or otherwise, to cause our body to try to have a pH above 7.
Alkalization is a long process. In order to have an iron health, our diet, way of thinking, and lifestyle, all these must help the body to have a PH of over 7 (ideally 7,365). & Quot source www.alcalinizare.ro

Most of the foods we eat are acidic and this means that our pH drops below normal, and this is where the diseases come from. In conclusion, in order to return to health, we must adopt a predominantly alkaline diet, 80% alkaline foods and 20% acidic foods. Of course, it is very important that our thoughts and emotions are alkaline. See more suggestions on the site.

I started the raw vegan diet about two months ago. That means eggs, milk, meat without anything of animal origin. Otherwise I ate about 85% everything raw. Including raw sweets.
This diet cures serious diseases and prevents disease.

There are a lot of Romanian and foreign blogs that explain what and how and seemingly miraculous healing stories are presented only by changing the diet. It is also useful to read the book The Study of China by American physicians T. Colin Campbell and Thomas Campbell II. Here it is explained with recognized scientific arguments why it is not advisable to consume meat, eggs, milk, beyond any religious motivation.
If I am allowed, I will also give blog links. But they are quickly found in a simple search.

I said we also eat a lot of raw sweets. Because I had a great craving for sweets, which turned out to be the consequence of an excessive increase in Candida albicans in the body (in my intestinal case). Other bloating symptoms, intestinal flatulence and unwarranted fatigue. Basically I started on the raw road because I was no longer feeling good in my body and to solve this problem.

The changes are very big in how you feel and how you look (I also lost a little weight), but my initial problem did not find a complete solution (it improved but did not disappear at all).

Then I searched deeper and discovered Robert Young and decided to follow an alkaline diet for a while (plus natural antifungals - on www.vindecator.com it is a very well documented article on this topic) until my problem is solved. In his book are described the steps that are taken for healing and obtaining an exceptional physical and mental state. Of course, everyone is free to adapt their diet and rhythm to what their body requires. He even urges those who want to try to take it slow. There are also testimonies of those who follow the diet. Both books I mentioned can be bought in Romania, and for those who are bad with money they are also on the net.

And, finally, everyone has to choose what they feel is good for them and before choosing something to document themselves very well. To read books, articles, there are many movies.

About that. I'll keep you posted on what's happening to me. For now it is the second day of diet + antifungals and I already have symptoms that it works.
And maybe it would be useful to write what I eat. I decided to take out for a while all the fruits (except lemon) and all the grains (white or black flour).

Yesterday I ate a carrot and a handful of raw pumpkin seeds in the morning (soaked overnight)
at lunch a salad of peas + onions + tomatoes + greens + olive oil + lemon and a mashed avocado with lemon
evening tomato salad + cucumber + pepper.

Today
in the morning only pumpkin seeds
evening salad with tomatoes, goulash, peppers, radishes, greens, cucumbers - it was made by my girls - surprise

I also started a little experience and I haven't eaten gluten for three weeks, the results are very good so far, I feel much lighter, bloating and other things I had before I haven't had since I started. I am satisfied and I will continue to do so. I am determined to test you have many foods. What you say with a pH of 7.3 or 7.4 is very advisable to respect, I even read today in a book.
