RECIPE PREPARATION Carp on cabbage:

The fish cleaned of scales, intestines, gills, washed, well drained, seasoned with salt, pepper, put 3-4 cloves of chopped garlic in the belly and leave it aside. Finely chop the cabbage with lemon salt and then put it in a bowl with oil and finely chopped onion to cook. After it has softened a little, add the broth, 1 cup of water, salt, mix well and leave in the oven for 40 minutes. Remove the bowl, place the fish on top, along with the thyme sprig and the remaining garlic. Leave for another 30-40 minutes in the oven, then serve differently than with polenta and hot peppers.

Duck on cabbage. The simplest recipe

An ideal satiety dish on a cool autumn day. Each region of the country has its own duck recipe on cabbage, but we'll tell you the simplest one below. These are just a few simple steps you need to follow. Therefore:

Wash and rub the duck inside and out with spices and oil. Put it in the oven in a pan where you have previously poured a cup of water. Let it cook for 60 minutes, after the first 30 turn it on the other side, to make it even.

The sauerkraut is cut into small pieces and put to harden in a little oil over medium to high heat, for about 20 minutes, with a lid and stirring every 5 minutes.

Separately, cut and harden the fresh cabbage until soft. Cut the onion into scales. Combine tomato juice, water and spices in a bowl.

Combine the 2 types of cabbage with the sauce made earlier. Remove the duck a little aside, put the cabbage bed on the bottom of the tray and put the duck back over.

Bake everything for 90 minutes. If you notice that the cabbage is drying, lower the heat and pour a little water. Turn the duck from time to time, browning evenly.

When ready, slice the duck and serve with the cabbage in the pan and a portion of hot polenta.

Cabbage juice

It is an exceptional natural medicine, a versatile remedy in the treatment of: acne, ademite, alcoholism, angina, arthritis, ascites, cirrhosis, colitis, demineralization, depression, diabetes, enteritis, influenza, intestinal infections, urinary stones, endema, oliguria, various skin conditions, pleurisy, rickets, seborrhea, tumors, gastric ulcers, intestinal worms.

Sour cabbage

It is consumed as such, uncooked. Very tasty it is prepared with lettuce and even with spinach and oil. Boiled, it loses its qualities, and cooked with meat and fat can even become harmful for some sensitive people.

Sour cabbage can be cooked like this: simmer a little carrot, an onion, cloves, bay leaves, parsley, tarragon and then sour cabbage. Finally add the vegetable juice. Boil together for 10 minutes, then place in the oven, covered with a lid. Serve like this or with a little butter or cream.

A delicious dish is made from sour cabbage and olives. Olives and sauerkraut are salted, being kept in cold water for a while. Then the chopped cabbage is drained. Brown 2-3 finely chopped onions and add 5-10 pitted olives, a few bay leaves and chopped cabbage. Add the necessary water and let it boil together until they are ready.

Sour cabbage salad

Take a cabbage, boil it in water and strain it. After cooling or warming, preferably add: chopped onion, garlic, salad dressing, oil and lemon juice.

If we want to make raw cabbage salad, it is prepared as follows: First chop the cabbage finely, then add the sauce prepared from: oil, lemon juice, onion, garlic, salad dressing, etc.

Red cabbage salad

It is prepared from chopped red cabbage to which lemon juice and oil are added. Vinegar will not be used, which is harmful to health, as it destroys red blood cells.

Separately, cut the cabbage as for the sauerkraut, cook in oil, add the peeled tomatoes, sliced ​​green peppers, dill and a little pepper. Cabbage thus hardened, place in a tray, and put the carp slices on top. Put the tray in the oven at the right heat. During baking, always grease the carp slices with the juice left by the cabbage and tomatoes.

Serve hot or cold, after the carp has browned nicely. "

Tomatoes can be replaced with a few tablespoons of tomato broth. Excellent combination!
