Spicy Chicken Wings (Video Recipe)

We wash the wings, remove the tips and cut them in two (copanel and the other side).

We prepare marinade: Put all the ingredients (wine, worchester sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, chopped onion, chopped garlic, ketchup, salt, pepper) and mix well. Pour the sauce obtained over the wings in a zip-lock bag (or in a bowl, box, but in the bag they can mix better) and put in the fridge for at least an hour.

After about an hour, heat the oven. We prepare a heat-resistant tray in which we turn the wings together with all the marinade.

Bake in the preheated oven, until the wings are nicely browned (20-30 minutes).

After 20-30 minutes, take the tray out of the oven and turn the wings to brown on all sides. Put it back in the oven and leave it for another 10-20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve with salad, potatoes or even plain.

I thought to myself that, after how many recipes there are on blogs and culinary sites, what would be new to say that it is worthwhile to enter the contest with such a recipe. Well, in this case, there is a simple explanation: it is a blog at the beginning of the road, which wants to enter the virtual world and has chosen some recipes to participate with. I don't know if it will confirm it or not, through the desire for novelty, tradition or originality, but I decided to follow this blog. Maybe out of sentimentality, because it inspired me, and I will make you this recipe proposal, which is somewhat part of the "Seen-liked-tried" category.

Chicken wings in Asian sauce is my recipe for today, a recipe I recommend if you like wings. The recipe allows you to get tender wings, which melt in your mouth, with a sauce that makes you lick your fingers.

Because I spent the Easter holidays abroad, the fridge was empty, so I thought I'd go to Mega for some quick shopping. And because I didn't feel like cooking something that would last long, I chose a large pan of wings and I already had the rest of the ingredients in the kitchen.

This recipe is not complicated at all, it is relatively easy, only you need certain ingredients to allow you to get the Asian sauce:

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • a hot habanero pepper
  • chicken wings
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of starch or organic powder especially for thickening gluten-free sauces
  • soy sauce
  • oyster sauce

How is it prepared?

Wash the wings and dab with a napkin to dry. After they have dried, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and hot pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the wings. Let them brown on both sides. When browned, add the garlic and hot pepper. Then add honey, oyster sauce, soy sauce and rice vinegar.

Let them boil for a few minutes in these sauces and then add half a bowl of water, followed by two teaspoons of powder to thicken the sauce. Let everything boil for a maximum of 5 minutes.

At the end for the design I sprinkled some sesame seeds and added a chopped green onion.
