Ben and Jerry’s Releases Newest, Delicious SNL Flavor

Ben and Jerry’s Releases Newest, Delicious SNL Flavor

Fan of SNL or not, this new flavor is crazy-delicious.

Ever since Ben and Jerry’s graced us with “Lazy Sunday” and ”Gilly”-inspired ice cream, we’ve been hungry for some more frozen Saturday Night Live desserts. Just announced today, the newest Ben and Jerry’s SNL flavor is “Two Wild and Crazy Pies” based off of the beloved sketch with Dan Aykroyd and Steve Martin, “Two Wild and Crazy Guys.”

“While our first two SNL flavors were inspired by more recent characters and sketches, we didn’t forget the classics from the earlier decades,” said Scoop Shop Brand Manager Alison Gilbert.

This swingin’ good flavor is the most delicious out of the whole bunch (according to the sophisticated palates of the Daily Meal staff), and features coconut cream pie ice cream, chocolate cream pie ice cream, and adds in a scrumptious chocolate cookie swirl. The flavor will be available at Ben and Jerry’s scoop shops nationwide. (Note: anyone can enjoy the chocolate, coconut-y swirl ice cream, even if you’re not wearing kooky American plaid).

Watch out for the fourth and final flavor in the collaboration with SNL’s 40th anniversary celebrations in early 2015.

Ben & Jerry's Is Releasing A Line Of Desserts That Are Safe For Dogs To Eat

If you have pets, you probably know this struggle well: You're sitting on the couch enjoying a sweet treat and your pup is sitting by your side begging for a bite. And while we've probably all been guilty of letting a little "accidentally" drop on the floor for them, it's not the safest thing for dogs to have dairy. which is why Ben & Jerry's has come to the rescue.

The iconic ice cream chain announced today that it is releasing a line of desserts made especially for dogs, aptly titled "Doggie Desserts." They're made with a sunflower butter base, making them safe for dogs to enjoy. There are currently two flavors in the line, and true to Ben & Jerry's form, they sound delicious (don't judge me). First up is Pontch's Mix, made with peanut butter and pretzel swirls, and next is Rosie's Batch, made with pumpkin and mini cookies. (BTW if you wanna see the dogs that inspired the names, take a look at the office dogs of Ben & Jerry's here!).

The individual mini-cups of the desserts are typically priced at $1.29 and multipacks will be priced at $4.49, making it the perfect little something for your dog to enjoy while you both sit on the couch and binge your reality TV of choice! You can expect to find these in pet supply stores and other locations nationwide soon so keep your eyes out and tell your pup to do the same!
