Cover with a astupus (lid) and let it simmer until it starts to drop.

Separately make a layer: mix all the ingredients and knead well until a thick dough is made, which is sprinkled with a little oloi (oil) and leave to rest for 30 minutes in the cold. Then remove the dough and spread a sheet about 8 mm thick. Sprinkle with oil and leave to rest for 5 minutes. Then spread the sheet with the twister as thin as possible. Put the filling from place to place, then roll the sheet, like a pie. It is twisted in the shape of a snail and placed in a pan in which the meat and potatoes are boiled. Boil over low heat, covered with a lid, for 30 minutes.

Banat pancakes

I've been seeing them for a while and they were waiting their turn
This month at the challenge at Ama, I came across a very beautiful and sweet blog, My Fancy Cake and from there I was inspired by the recipe for pancakes from Banat. For all the steps I recommend you to look at the link, I managed to save only one piece for pictures and I had problems with the meringue, I lost the mixer screw and I couldn't handle the fork.

Pancake ingredients:
300 gr flour
200 ml of milk
3 eggs
1 tablespoon oil
salt knife tip
150 ml of mineral water

Mix eggs with a tablespoon of oil and salt. Add flour and milk and mix well so that they do not remain lumpy. Pour mineral water, the pancakes should be thicker than usual.
Leave the composition in the fridge for 30 minutes, then fry the pancakes. I used the ceramic pan from Dmail and I didn't have to use any oil.
8-10 pancakes come out, depending on how thick you make them.

For the filling:
1 pack of cottage cheese (200 -250 gr)
1 or
2 tablespoons vanilla sugar (used at home)
esenta de rom

Mix all the ingredients and fill the pancakes with this composition.
Roll in the form of packages and place in the tray.

For the cream:
4 yolks
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
200 gr ml sour cream

Make a sauce from all the ingredients and pour over the pancakes. Put the tray in the oven and keep it for about 8-10 minutes (depending on the oven) or until the vanilla sauce starts to thicken.

For meringue:
4 egg whites
6 tablespoons sugar

Beat the egg whites with the sugar. My mixer had just broken down and I wasn't very patient with the fork, but a strong meringue should come out.
Put the meringue over the pancakes and put the tray back in the oven. Hold until the meringue is browned and serve hot or cold pancakes.
