Dessert diploma cake with yogurt and strawberries

I started with gelatin. In a saucepan with 500 ml of water, pour the gelatin, mix and leave for 15 minutes, according to the instructions on the package. After 15 minutes, put on low heat until it melts and is very clear, take it down (it takes 2-3 minutes).

Mix the yogurt for a few seconds with the powdered sugar and the vanilla sugar sachet, add the strawberries given in the blender beforehand. I also added 200 ml whipped cream, for an extra creaminess and it came out very good, it mixes easily with whipped cream and gelatin is added. The composition will be very liquid, but it will thicken nicely in the fridge.

In a cake tray, lined with food foil, pour the whole composition, then add the biscuits.

It is refrigerated for 6 hours or overnight, I took it out after 6 hours, being impatient.

Decorate with 50 g of melted dark chocolate in the microwave, 1 minute, put in a bag and cut the corner and sprinkle on top. I decorated it with some strawberries.

Beat the whipped cream and keep it in the fridge
until the moment of use.

Put the gelatin soaked in water
enough to cover it.

In a large bowl we put eggs, sugar,
milk in a bain-marie and mix until
they are close to boiling.

Add gelatin, remove from the heat and chew
until it cools.
When it is cold enough, add the whipped cream and
vanilla essence or other flavors.

We mount the cake directly on the plate with the help of a
ring from a shape with removable walls.

We put the closed ring on the plate and start to sit
biscuits soaked in peach syrup.

We cut the peaches into small pieces and mix them
with cream.
Place a layer of cream and then a layer of biscuits
and again a layer of cream and level nicely.

Put the cake in the fridge for a few hours or so
until the next day.

We unroll the ring around the cake, we veil it nicely
the edges (if needed) and wallpaper it
all around with biscuits.

Ingredient for wheat:
5 eggs
1 cup sugar
5 tablespoons water
5 tablespoons oil
1 cana faina
1 baking powder
1 vanilla sugar ,lemon zest
a pinch of salt

Ingredient for creams:

for whipped cream and yogurt
1 plain yogurt - (200 ml)
200 ml liquid cream
500 gr strawberries
half a lemon (to sprinkle with chopped strawberries)

for vanilla pudding
400 ml of milk
3 tablespoons sugar
1 sachet of vanilla pudding.


a gelatin sachet for cake, (preferably red)
2 tablespoons sugar
250 ml of compote juice..or water

Countertop preparation method:

Separate the egg whites from the yolks, then put on the fire, in a saucepan, a cup of sugar and the 5 tablespoons of water.
Let it melt, until a syrup is formed, when we lift with a spoon from that syrup, let a thin thread flow without interrupting, then the "syrup" is ready, we take it off the heat and let it cool a little, we put the 5 tablespoons oil, there .. Meanwhile beat the egg whites, along with salt and lemon zest. hard foam when we turn the bowl .. not to flow. then add the syrup and the yolks, in 2 portions ... chewing continuously. How to prepare cream:

  • 300 gr strawberries, 300 gr wheat flour
  • 2 flat teaspoons baking powder, 230 gr sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla, 2 eggs
  • 100 ml sunflower oil, 300 gr natural yogurt (very thick)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice, powdered sugar (for decoration)

The ingredients must be at room temperature, so we will take them out of the fridge in time.

For starters we will sift the flour together with the baking powder. In a large bowl beat the eggs with the mixer. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and continue mixing until you get a fluffy foam.

Gradually add the yogurt, lemon juice, sunflower oil and mix gently. Turn off the mixer, add the flour together with the baking powder and mix with a wooden spoon until all the ingredients are combined.

Wallpaper a cake tray (diameter 24 cm) with baking paper and pour the dough obtained. Level well, sprinkle a little flour on top and add the fruit cut in half.

Bake the dough for about 40-45 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 C. When ready, remove from the oven and leave to cool.

At the end, sprinkle with powdered sugar, then cut and serve with a cup of milk, tea or coffee. Have fun, with your loved ones!
