How to boil corn. I don't think I should have gone into "recipes" like that, but I think maybe it will help those who are beginners. In our family we eat a lot of boiled corn (we don't like baked corn) and always sprinkled with a lot of butter! If you haven't tried butter, you don't know what you missed. ;)

How to boil corn. We clean the corn from leaves (pansies) and silk (that brown part).
We put half of the leaves on the bottom of the pot in which we will boil the corn.
Place the cobs whole or broken in half (if they are too big) next to each other.
Cover everything with the remaining leaves, pour enough water to cover everything and cook for at least 1 hour. We check with a fork if the grain is boiled.
Remove the corn from the water, let it cool a bit and sprinkle it with melted butter.
Sprinkle salt to taste and pop.

Cut 1 cm (or the woody part) from the base and start cleaning from the bottom up, and stop near the top. Wash it under running water, insisting on the tip. Don't leave it in the water!

The first and best known method of preparing asparagus is boiling in water. Put a pinch of salt, a little sugar, a teaspoon of butter and a slice of lemon in the water in which you boil it.
Depending on the thickness, boil it between 4-8 minutes on the green one and 9-12 minutes on the white one, so that it remains al-dente.
Put the green asparagus after boiling in ice water for a few seconds (to keep its intense green color), then take it out and put it on absorbent paper.
It can also be prepared in pressure cooker. Once the valve indicates that the pressure is effective, boil the green asparagus for 4 minutes and the white one for 8 minutes.
Asparagus can be prepared as well by frying in oil and butter for 10-15 minutes, over low heat, stirring periodically.

Peel the vegetables and cut into large pieces. Put the vegetables in a pot and cover with water and add salt. Boil for about 25 minutes or until vegetables are cooked through. Pass the vegetables in a blender or manually. Add the soup to the vegetable mixture until you get the desired consistency. The soup is mixed with cheese, butter and pepper. Put it on the fire again and let it boil. Serve with croutons and grated cheese.

- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 2 ¼ sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups zucchini grated
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 165 degrees Celsius. Put flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon in a bowl. Beat the eggs and add the vanilla extract and sugar. Put the other ingredients from the first bowl in this mixture and mix well. Add zucchini and walnuts and mix well.
Pour the dough into the baking tins. Bake the zucchini bread for 40-60 minutes. You can test with a toothpick to see if it has baked. Then take it out of the oven and let it cool in the form for 20 minutes.

Put a little oil or butter in a pan, add the zucchini and let it harden for a maximum of 1 minute. Then add the beaten eggs and mix with the telemeau. Leave the omelette on both sides until slightly browned.
Baked corn with flavored butter
You can't help but notice that the market is full of young, "milk" corn, only good for boiling or preparing unprecedented recipes. Because last year I told you about the recipe to make the perfect cooked corn, today I thought I would tell you how I prepare baked corn, this time with flavored butter. It is very important to use fresh corn, check each cob before buying it. When you place it in the tray before putting it in the oven, use aluminum foil to wrap each stone well, it will be done much faster.
Ingredients for 3 people:
& # 8211 3 corn cobs
& # 8211 75g butter
& # 8211 cate teaspoon of basil, oregano, thyme, dried marjoram
& # 8211 a teaspoon of garlic powder or 2 cloves of garlic put on a grater
& # 8211 a teaspoon of salt
I melted the butter and mixed all the spices in it (herbs, salt, garlic), then let it cool a bit, until it started to harden.
I carefully unrolled the cone's buns, but I did not detach them from the spine.
With a pastry brush I greased the corn well with the flavored butter.
Then I lifted the panes around the cob and tightened them well. This is the perfect time to wrap each corn cob in aluminum foil. I skipped this step because I realized at the last moment that our film was over. I then placed the cobs in a tray lined with paper and baked them for 30 minutes in the oven heated to 180 degrees. Don't forget to turn the cobs from time to time, to make sure they are cooked evenly.
You will notice that the ripe corn is ready when the grains are soft and it bites and chews easily, so the work goes on tested, it is not a standard baking time. It would be good if you had a grill or a country oven, a good stove in which to bake corn, then the taste would be really magical. You're welcome!
How to cook lentils?
As I said, the lentils do not stick to soaking, but wash very well.
Then put it in a bowl and add water, a liter in my case. The ratio is 2/1. That is, two parts water and one lentil.
Simmer over low heat, with the pot covered, for 20 to 30 minutes.
If you want, now you can add a bay leaf or a clove of garlic for flavor. Salt is added only when the lentils are almost cooked.
*If the water has dropped and the lentils are not boiled, you can add a little more hot water.

There are some tricks to boil the right corn and preserve its nutritional properties. Unfortunately, not all housewives know how to cook. Here's what you need to do:
Ingredient: corn, butter, salt and pepper.
Put water with a little sugar in a large pot. Bring to the boil for 5 minutes and then add maize, over which you put gloves, but without silk. Cover the pot with a lid and wait for it to boil. You do NOT have to leave maize cook for more than 20 minutes.
Remove quickly maize from water, because it hardens and can get a bitter taste. Put salt, white pepper and a little butter on it.

- 60 ml of liquid cream, unbeaten

Method of preparation:
1. Take a pot as large as possible so that the corn fits in it, and fill it half with water. Add the whipped cream, milk, sugar and butter, mix well then bring the created juice to a boil.
2. Add the cleaned corn cobs, reduce the heat and let the water simmer for 7-8 minutes or until you put the fork in them and notice that they are very tender. Do not cover the pot, because the corn will harden. Take the cobs out of the pot, drain them well, put them on a plate and serve them with butter and salt to taste. Or, if you want to try something even more special, apply a serving idea borrowed from Mexico: rub the corn with lime slices and sprinkle salt on it. The aroma is exotic and interesting!
