Hot wings

I peeled the wings, washed them, cut them in half and marinated them with salt, paprika, pepper and spices for the chicken.

I put the 2 eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt and beat them lightly with a fork.

I put the cornflakes in a plastic bag and crushed them with a twister.

I left them to marinate in the evening until noon the next day.

I put the oil in a pan to heat.

I passed each wing through flour, egg and then through cornflakes.

I fried them in hot oil, turning them when they were browned.

I did the same until I finished the wings.

I served them with new cabbage salad or yogurt sauce.

Yogurt sauce The crumpled, washed and crushed garlic is rubbed with a little oil and lemon juice.

Pour the yogurt, tzatziki spice over the garlic and mix well for homogenization.

There were no fries at the table :)))))

Hot wings

I propose a fairly simple recipe, but much healthier than the spicy wings from KFC or other similar fast foods. Delicious spicy wings, made at home!

Perfect for lunch or dinner or even for the next day's work package.

Ingredients for spicy wings

  • 6-8 chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • spices: CHILI (main ingredient)
  • pepper, salt
  • chicken spices (I use chicken spices from Galeo that they recently discovered. They are quite cheap, about 1.2 RON package)

Boil the chicken wings until they boil. Meanwhile, in a pan, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter and then add one by one, the other ingredients. Mix until a homogeneous and quite dense sauce is obtained. The spices are added to taste, but be very careful with the chilli because depending on the company that produces it, it can be extremely spicy. For example, the chilli from Fuchs or Galeo is extremely spicy, while the one produced by Cosmin is quite sweet. Don't forget to heat the oven.

Take a fairly large pan and fill it half with water. Cover with the lid upside down and grease the lid with a tablespoon of oil. After boiling the wings, place them on the lid and grease them with a previously prepared sauce. Put the pan in the oven and leave it for about 15-20 minutes until the chicken is browned and a crust is formed.


History of wings in spicy sauce

As for the spicy wings, things are not entirely clear. The recipe is believed to have originated in Buffalo, New York. At first, the name of the dish was "Buffalo wings" (Buffalo chicken wings).

Apparently, seeing that spicy wings are not among the customers' favorites and not selling enough, a chef decided to create a recipe that would focus on the sauce and how the chicken is cooked and not on the meat itself.

Teresa Bellissimo combined the spices with parsley, dressing and olive oil, frying the wings in this mixture. The result was an absolute success! This is another example that proves that creativity is the key in the kitchen.

Lately it seems that I have put it on sweet-sour and spicy foods that are easier to prepare. I recommend you try these too Spicy Sticky Wings . Ingredients Spicy Sticky Wings :

12 pieces of wings
1 hot chili pepper
2 teaspoons chili powder
3 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
grated peel of 2 lemons or lime
10 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander (or dried if you don't have fresh)
8 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt

For Ornat:
grated lemon peel or coriander leaves

Preparation Spicy Sticky Wings :

We remove the tips from fins after which we cut them in half at the joint. Finely chop the fresh chili pepper and place in a bowl in which we add the grated ginger, chili powder, and grated lemon or lime peel and 1 teaspoon of salt and mix them. We rub well with this mixture fins then cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
In a larger wok or pan, heat the oil and put it on top fins. Shake, stir constantly and fry fins for 12 minutes until they become crispy and nicely browned (if needed you can add a little more oil). remove fins on a paper napkin.

In the wok where I fried fins over the remaining oil add the chopped coriander and fry for 40 seconds. Place back over the coriander fins fried and continue to fry them together for another 2 minutes, then pour over the honey, the soy sauce and leave on the fire until the honey melts and a sauce is formed.

place fins on a plate pour the formed sauce on top and sprinkle everything with lemon or lime peel or coriander leaves.

KFC spicy wings

Obviously we can't find the original recipe, just like at Coca Cola, McDonald's or other big brands, but this recipe reproduces the taste and crust of KFC's wings in 99%.

ingredients

12 wings (approx. 800 gr)
1 or
250 ml milk
1 cana faina
3 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon +1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon vegeta
1 1/2 teaspoon salt

The wings are cut into 3 pieces and the tips are thrown. Wash well and put in a pot. Cover with 2 cups of cold water in which I dissolved 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic, 1 teaspoon vegeta and 1 teaspoon salt. Leave in the fridge for about 2-4 hours.

Put the pot on the fire and boil the wings for 10 minutes from the moment the water starts to boil. Then drain the water and after cooling a little absorb well with kitchen towels.

In a bowl beat the egg, then add the milk and mix well.

In another bowl / box with a lid, mix the flour with chili, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon granulated garlic. Mix well.

Pass each fin through the flour mixture, then through the milk mixture and again through the flour mixture.
* I put the wings uncluttered in the flour box, I covered it with the lid and then I shook it until the wings were well covered.

I heated a bottle of oil in a deep pan. I put 6 wings once in the special sieve that the frying pan has and I immersed them in the oil bath for a fixed 3 minutes. I took them out on a plate with napkins to absorb the fat.
* the oil must be well heated, check it before frying the wings to check it I sprinkled a little flour in it and when it sucked hard I know it's ok

Let the wings cool for at least 10 minutes. Serve hot or cold. They remain crispy for about 2-3 hours after they have been prepared.


Sweet-spicy chicken wings with pea puree

Sweet-spicy chicken wings with pea puree. Today I propose a recipe for sweet-spicy chicken wings that is tasty and quickly prepared in the oven. As a garnish I thought of a pea puree that goes very well with these wings. I invite you to try this recipe with sweet-spicy chicken wings with pea puree!

Ingredients for sweet-spicy chicken wings:

  • 8 large wings (800 gr)
  • 5 teaspoons of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • half a hot pepper
  • salt to taste.

Ingredients for pea puree:

  • 450 grams of frozen peas
  • 10 grams of butter
  • milk (depending on the desired consistency - about 50 ml of milk)
  • salt to taste.

Preparation of sweet-spicy chicken wings with pea puree:

We clean the fins of any flake residue (if necessary we can use the flame from the stove). We wash them under a stream of cold water and cut them in half.We put them in a bowl where we add the spices: salt, pepper, paprika, oil, hot pepper cut into small cubes, honey and mix well.We leave them for a few hours to marinate (minimum 2 hours) or overnight.We put them in a tray (I use yena) and put them in the preheated oven at 230 degrees. There is no need to add water or oil because the wings leave their fat. Meanwhile, boil the peas in a saucepan for about 10 minutes.After it has boiled, drain the water with a strainer.Over the peas, add the butter with a little salt.We pass everything with a blender.Add milk, little by little and continue to pass until you get the desired consistency.After 30 minutes, turn the wings to the other side to brown.Leave them for another 25 minutes until they turn brown on the other side as well. It can be served with yogurt sauce with garlic, tomato sauce, assorted salad, cabbage, pickles, etc.

Beat the eggs in another bowl and set them aside.

Heat a frying pan with oil and put the wings, only when it is hot enough, ideally it would be 180 degrees. The fins must be covered with oil.

Fry over medium heat for 7-9 minutes, turning them carefully 2-3 times. Ideally, do not bite them too hard, otherwise they will not have a beautiful and crispy crust.

We take them out on a drained grill or on a tray lined with a kitchen towel.
